Students in all grade levels learn how to read and create their own charts and graphs. They are also expected to publish information in a variety of media. Students in Mrs. Johnson's second grade class wondered how they could record and graph the weather information they had been collecting all month. Mrs. Haney along with Mrs. Johnson using the co-teaching model, worked with the students to create a chart in Microsoft Excel that would display their data. Students learned various software skills such as working with cells, inserting clip art, and saving their file. What a great way to incorporate math, science, and technology!
